Why aren’t hyperlinks in my planner working?
To use the hyperlinks, you need to be in hyperlinks mode. Tap the pencil icon in the toolbar to switch to hyperlinks mode. Once there, simply tap on any hyperlinked area to navigate to the relevant page. If you had to long-tap the hyperlinks, it means you were in editing mode.

Why are my stickers not loading or copying properly?
This is usually a Goodnotes glitch where stickers appear blank or fail to load. Redownload and reimport the planner. If the issue continues, contact us and we will send you a fresh download link.
What does the Calendar Shortcut do, and what are its limitations?
The Calendar Shortcut lets you add events or tasks from your planner to your Calendar app using the built-in shortcut links. It does not sync or import events from Apple, Google, or Outlook back into your planner. If you see an error like “This file does not exist,” install the shortcut and rename it to “ChattanDesign” or “ChattanDesign-v2,” removing anything extra like “(2),” then try again.
Why aren't my calendar events automatically showing up in my planner?
Currently, Goodnotes cannot sync with Apple or Google calendars to automatically display your previously created events. The hyperlinked shortcuts in your planner are designed for quick access to your calendar, allowing you to easily add new events or reminders.
I've installed the shortcut file but it isn't working. What should I do?
If the "ChattanDesign.shortcut" file was downloaded multiple times, it might have a number appended to the filename (e.g., "ChattanDesign (2)"). This can prevent the shortcuts from working correctly.
To fix this, go into your Shortcuts app and rename the file to "ChattanDesign", ensuring there are no numbers or brackets in the filename. The hyperlinked shortcuts should then work properly.
How do I duplicate a page?
To duplicate a page in your Goodnotes planner, open Thumbnail View and locate the page you want to duplicate. Click the dropdown arrow under the page thumbnail and select 'Duplicate'.

My planner lags or runs slowly on my Android device. How can I fix it?
Large interactive PDFs can be demanding on some Android apps. Close other apps running in the background, and try a different notes app such as Xodo or Noteshelf, which often handle large planners more smoothly on Android.
I bought the wrong planner. Can I get a refund?
Purchases on the Goodnotes Marketplace are handled by Goodnotes, so refunds are managed by them. If you bought the wrong version, send us your receipt and we will provide the correct version at no extra cost. For purchases made on our website, contact us through the Contact Us form.
